Frequent Questions & Answers
Q: Why is it important to use a cream containing Natural lycopene?
A: Lycopene used in skin care products can be either natural or synthetic. Some medical studies show that pure lycopene kills twice the number of tumor cells grown in a laboratory culture medium than the synthetic form and may exert a more powerful antioxidant/anti-aging effect. Using a patented process, CO2 Extraction, the lycopene used in Crema Rinnovante Lycopene is both 100% pure and organic. It is certified as such by the European Union.
Q: What is a cerosome and what does it do?
A: Natural lycopene when exposed to oxygen begins to break down and lose its effectiveness. Unlike other skin care products containing lycopene, our lycopene cream is surrounded by a lipoprotein envelope, a cerosome, protecting the lycopene from oxidation. The result is a cream offering maximum antioxidant protection every time it is applied.
Q: Why is the Hyaluronic Acid in Crema Rinnovante Lycopene different?
A: Crema Rinnovante Lycopene uses the next generation Hyaluronic Acid. Hyaluronic Acid exists in two molecular forms; a linear form that the skin absorbs easily but breaks down rapidly, therefore, not offering long lasting hydration and a layered form that is long lasting but is not easily absorbed by the skin. Cream Lycopene Rinnovante has found a way to combine these two types of HA resulting in a unique hydrating skin cream that is rapidly absorbed and gives deeper, longer lasting hydration than other skin creams.
Q: How often should I use Crema Rinnovante Lycopene?
A: For normal skin types the cream should be used daily to hydrate and protect the skin from the aging effects of environmental pollutants and UV radiation. If your skin is very dry or you are out of doors for a prolonged period of time, twice daily application is recommended.
What is Dermopeel?
Dermopeel is a unique multi-functional skincare product using natural botanicals to address skin imperfections. The active botanicals, azelaic acid, kojic acid, mushroom beta-glucan, licorice extract, lycopene and natural moisturizers work together to improve skin tone, reduce fine lines and wrinkles, improve hydration, lighten dark spots and skin discoloration, and reduce the occaisional outbreaks of pimples and blackheads.
What is Azelaic acid?
This acid, extracted from grain, lightens dark spots that result from over-exposure to the sun’s damaging UVA rays without any of the dangerous side effects that may be associated with hydroquinones, a product that is banned in the EU, Japan, the UK and other countries outside of the United States. Azelaic acid has also been shown to kill the bacteria responsible for acne, and reduce the over-productions of skin oils that may lead to pimples and blackheads.
What are beta-Glucans?
Beta-glucans are natural carbohydrate polymers extracted from the cell wall of mushrooms. Clinical studies show that use of this botanical results in a progressive increase in skin firmness and stratum corneum hydration. The result is a decrease in skin roughness and peeling which significantly reduces signs of skin aging while improving hydration and skin barrier function.
What is Kojic acid?
Also extracted from mushrooms this botanical lightens dark spots due to sun damage and the normal aging process.
What is Licorice extract?
Together with azelaic and kojic acid it reduces the abnormal production of skin pigment resulting from skin inflammation from the daily exposure to environmental pollutants, UV damage, and the normal aging process.
How often should I use Dermopeel?
Dermopeel should be used at night before bedtime. Apply a small amount evenly over the face and neck and massage into the skin until completely absorbed. Additional cream may be applied to areas fine lines and wrinkles, age and dark spots, and blemishes.
